Islamabad - 125th Anniversary and Pakistan Student Congress 2009

Islamabad - IEEE Celebrated its 125th Anniversary on 13th May 2009. The year 2009 has dozens of exciting activities planned worldwide. Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad Section also planned various events. Moreover, 3rd IEEE Pakistan Student Congress was held at NUST Islamabad. Pakistan Student Congress is rotated between the 3 Sections (Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad). Surprise Birthday Party and Cake Cutting was also done during PSC 2009.

The second day proceedings started with a talk by Mr. Aamer Jelani
(Counselor, IEEE-NUST SEECS). He also read out the message from the Region
10 Director for the PSC 2009 participants.

Mr. Amir Zahoor (SSR, IEEE Lahore Section) delivered a talk to motivate
"Pakistani Youth."

Mr. Om Perkash Batra (Regional Student Representative, IEEE Region 10)
arrived at the Congress around 10: 30 a.m. as he was out of the country
earlier.

Currently, representatives of different student branches are giving their
branch presentations.
