Islamabad - 125th Anniversary and Pakistan Student Congress 2009

Islamabad - IEEE Celebrated its 125th Anniversary on 13th May 2009. The year 2009 has dozens of exciting activities planned worldwide. Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad Section also planned various events. Moreover, 3rd IEEE Pakistan Student Congress was held at NUST Islamabad. Pakistan Student Congress is rotated between the 3 Sections (Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad). Surprise Birthday Party and Cake Cutting was also done during PSC 2009.

On the eve of second day of the congress, IEEE Pakistan Student Congress
attendees were allocated discussion groups to network and provide feedback
on the Pakistan Student Congress 2009. They were given 8-9 hours to compile
their suggestions.

The next day Chairman Islamabad Section, Mr. Om Perkash Batra, Me, Mr.
Shahab Siddiqui and other senior volunteers discussed those matters and
suggestions. Region 10 RSR, Om Batra assured the participants that some of
the positive suggestions would be taken into account for the PSC 2010.
