Lahore - IEEE- NUCES Presents a Seminar on "Introduction to Cisco Certifications and core network devices. "

The seminar was held on 12th October, 2009 at 2:00 pm in the auditorium.

The guest speaker was Mr. Hafiz Mohsin Bashir who *has undergone training in
Cisco Certification courses including *C*isco Certified Network Associate
(CCNA) R&S, CCNA Voice, *Cisco Certified Network Professional (*CCNP)
and *Cisco
Certified Internetwork Expert* (CCIE). He has* a brilliant score of 979/1000
in the *CCIE R&S 350-001 Certification.*

The computers were interconnected for demonstration of networking to show
connectivity and setup procedures. A detailed description about the routers,
the interconnections and operations was given to the students and a live
movie was shown on routers and switches. At the end, there was a question
answer session where students were given an opportunity to grasp more
intricate knowledge through their questions.

*The seminar was attended by a huge audience. Students from Computer
Sciences and Electrical Engineering Department formed the majority of the
audience. The seminar provided a platform for massive publicity of the IEEE
society. *All in all, the seminar was a huge success and it achieved its
aim of imparting a broader vision of the networking discipline.
